Eric was born and raised in rural Jefferson County, MO. He now resides with his wife, Nickie, and currently lives in the Valles Mines, MO area. He has 5 children, Mackenzie, Dallas, Blaine, Ashlynn, and RJ, a grandson Huxley, and daughter in-law Morgan(Dallas).
Raised in a family with farm, hunting, and construction roots, Eric is no stranger to the needs of livestock, wildlife, game, the land, and the buildings put on it. 3rd generation in the foundation industry he owns E.S. Leonard Waterproofing and enjoys working on his and his wife's future homestead in Ironton, MO. Sculpting the land not just to live on, but restore the land to it's natural pre-man state.
He never quits learning and giving it his all. He has an associates degree in Refrigeration & HVAC, certification in prescribed burns, and is currently enrolled in the EQIP program working with Forestry through the USDA.
He is known for his organizational skills and ability to bring multiple points to a single goal. He is a member of Elks Lodge #689, the Hillsboro Civic Club, and a 5 time De Soto Chamber of Commerce board member and former president. Aside from these he and his wife cook and feed local first responders every Father's Day, organize Realtor & Contractor networking events bi-annually, and put together a pictures with Santa event to bring in donations for the local dog kennel.
Being a real estate agent comes naturally for Eric and with his wife Nickie by his side they make a great team as The Leonard's Land & Home.
